Aletta: Peter and I attended the suppliers' fair in Moutier, where more than 450 exhibitors were represented, e.g. tooland machinemakers, as well as suppliers of cleansing and polishing agents. Toward the end of the fair, we found a company that also mills balancestaffs. We introduced ourselves and explained that we were looking for a manufacturer of balances. Peter: After we had discussed the number of units and the purpose which we had in mind for our caliber, they asked us for a bit of time to learn more about our company and to consider our proposition. In the meantime, we've progressed far enough to send our balance's design to them so they can respond with a cost estimate.
