Cooperation With Educational Institutions

The most important component in the production of a fine Swiss watch is the skill of the watchmaker. Frederique Constant has established an exceptional spirit of cooperation with the world's finest watchmaking schools, which happen to be located in genve and La ChauxdeFonds. Many of the outstanding artisans employed by our company to produce the finest Swiss watches come from these schools. Still others learned their skills in the ateliers of other highlyrenowned famous Swiss brands before joining us at Frederique Constant. The development of one of the most successful watches in the Frederique Constant range took more than three years, and in the end, it was a cooperative effort that ultimately led to the desired outcome. Starting in 2001, the company began work on the manual version of the Heart Beat Manufacture, a watch that would use calibers designed and produced inhouse. (1) We worked side by side with the Ecole d'Horlogerie (geneva Watchmaking School), the Ecole d'Ingenieurs de genve (Engineering School of geneva), and the Horloge Vakschool zadkine (Watchmaking Vocational School of zadkine). The hugely successful launch of the manual Heart Beat Manufacture in 2004 was followed by the introduction of the handwound Heart Beat Manufacture with Moon Phase and Date in 2005, before the first series of Automatic Heart Beat Manufacture watches was launched in 2006. Through the cooperative efforts of all concerned, the newest generation of Frederique Constant watches was turned from an improbable concept into a wonderful reality. Frederique Constant is proud to cooperate in a spirit of trust and happiness with these outstanding educational institutions. No Fields Found.
