Why Is That?

Book live your passion

Peter: It had to do with architects who build much more elaborately and more costintensively than ours. I was intimately involved in the new construction. We commissioned an engineer from East germany. At first they said, “No, that's impossible,” but it ultimately turned out to be possible after all. He had all the necessary qualifications. He brought the concrete skeleton and the faade components from germany. The steel came from northern Switzerland. Canadians built the ceilings. We personally drew the plans for the furnishings, which we arranged to have manufactured in China. We've been here for six years and we feel very comfortable here. This building suits us quite well.
