In order to find the most meaningful candidates, the following submission and selection process was established: ¥ A call for submission of candidates was published. ¥ The Jury for the Frederique Constant Passion Award evaluated submissions. An indepth assessment matches each candidate with the six qualifying criteria. ¥ The ten highest qualifying candidates were announced, and subsequent additional evaluation by the jury determined the final winner. ¥ The qualifying candidates were contacted for interviews and complementary information which was not publicly available. ¥ The qualifying candidates were invited to visit the Frederique Constant factory in geneva and attend the Award Winning Ceremony. Winners of subsequent Passion Awards were Pierre Marcolini, the founder and CEO of Pierre Marcolini Chocolatier, Laura Cotton, the founder of Paint a Smile, a foundation dedicated to the improvement of hospital environments, and Helaine Baruch of the American Heart Association. Thanks to the Passion Awards, we have met many very passionate people with beautiful stories. These people are some of the most passionate people and organizations in the world, and meeting them was an unforgettable experience. That is why we plan to continue with the Passion Awards. We hope to meet more people who are driven by passion and that more companies, organizations and people realize success through passion.
