Indeed, it all started with our passion, back in the 1980'sâ as we were drawing watches in our spare time, after a long day's of work. Many elements inspire success in business. Product, plan and ambition play their part. But the greatest predictor of global accomplishment is the hardest to acquire. That factor is passion. Passion for your product, passion for your mission, passion for business itself. We believe that the overriding factor for our success has been passion. The passion which turned us from lovers of fine watches to global producers. Over the years, we realized that a company, organization or person is rarely praised for their passion. In fact, passion was vastly underestimated. This is why our company slogan has always been, “Live your Passion”, and why we created the Frederique Constant Passion Awards. We want to recognise businesses, organisations and persons fired by passion and proving the entrepreneurial success which that elusive quality brings. Winners of the first Frederique Constant Passion Awards were PeterFrans Pauwels of TomTom and Dr. William Novick of the International Children's Heart Foundation. The prize was a business case study by Prof. Dominique Turpin of IMD in Lausanne on a strategy issue of choice, an invitation to our Award ceremony and concert in geneva and a gold Frederique Constant watch from our Heart Beat Manufacture collection. The Financial Times was the official media partner. The award ceremony and concert was organized in partnership with Fortis Banque (Suisse) SA and ABN AMRO, who were also sponsors of the nonprofit prize. No Fields Found.
