Interview With Hugo Herrerolevy On “Personal Development” Did You Also Have To Look After Collaboration With Suppliers?

Book live your passion

Hugo: yes, and that brings me back to what I mentioned at the start. I had imagined that sequences in the watch industry would be somewhat different. Not only the customers, but also the suppliers had their say. That's unconventional. It's found in this form in only a very few industries. Above all, one doesn't learn it in any university. It was essential for me to speedily develop personal relationships with individual suppliers. I had learned that one works in the watch industry with friendly manufacturers and not with suppliers. This branch of the industry is very human; it's ultimately one big family. Nowadays I'm on a firstname basis with most of our suppliers. Frederique Constant was likewise already a big family and has remained so, although the clan has grown larger.
